It stands to reason that if you own a large company, you employ a large number of individuals. The less hindered by taxes, the more you're able to employ. A business doing well tends to force the community to do well.
During the 50', when taxes were highest, companies used retained earnings for expansion and hiring. Once you reduce taxes, executive compensation climbs, and investment decreases. This is not economic theory, it is well documented historical fact.
"the wealthy few" just keep their money? are you an idiot? wealth by itself does not retain value unless it is put to work. just holding onto money does not keep anyone rich. putting money to work; i.e. financing a concept or an enterprise or an industry maintains wealth and sustains growth. it creates jobs. the idea that wealth is just horded by or kept within a privileged few to the disadvantage of others is total nonsense and betrays a total ignorance as to how prosperity is created and maintained.
Nick, the wealthy put their money to work on wall st, real estate etc., and only hire when it benefits them to do so, fire when it benefits them, and give raises when forced.
Can't wait till their DEAD! Most of them are now..Hit the road jack, and don;t you come back no mo no mo…..jajaja Reagon the hater, I'm glad he died and was out of his mind before he did. Psyhcopath
the greatest man in that room is the one who seemingly doesnt belong…. the only man who wasnt part of the reagan criminal administration. just to the left of ronnie raygun is the late walter cronkite. the most trusted man in america….. oddly enough i just stumbled this and just heard he died about 30 minutes ago….. i grew up watching walter cronkite. through that little black and white lookity box, he told me and my family with tears in his eyes when president kennedy was shot…. he told me and my family when man landed on the moon… also with tears in his eyes… he and cub reporter, dan rather, told us about the 1968 democratic convention where all hel broke loose…..he was at my house for dinner throughout my childhood and through my navy hitch. to walter… i just want to say THANK YOU. from the little boy from the small town, you helped me see the world. thank you very much.
i cant for the life of me figure out what he is doing in that room full of crooks. he was a liberal.
If you think the best President we ever had should be mocked like this, you are just pitiful and ignorant. Regan is needed now more than ever, to day we have BO trying to borrow his way out of debt. 12 Trillion and counting… it makes me sick to see idiot Democrats running us into the ground.

Keep as in buy bling, land, and politicians.
Why do you need to invest if you already have billions?
What incentive is there for corporate CEOs who are best buds though they"compete" (my @$$) to invest?
They don't want VALUE. Corporations want to make money not innovate. Innovation doesn't come from money.
